BBQ Menus (min 10 persons)

Menu one: $13.00 per head (+ gst)

Chicken pieces marinated in our own sticky bbq sauce

Minced beef burger with oregano served with pickles

Frankfurter sausages with relishes

Tossed mixed salad / Potato and spring onion salad

Selection of breads

Menu two: $23.00 per head (+gst)

Sirloin steak with mustard cream cheese dressing

Chicken kebabs with paprika and garlic

Prawns in chili-lime marinade

Penne pasta with semi-roasted tomatoes, peppers and olives / Roasted vegetable salad tossed in balsamic dressing / Mixed salad leaves with dressing

Cranberry frangipan tarts and chocolate and cinnamon tarts

Platter menus (min 10 persons)

Antipasto platter: $9.50 per head (+gst)

Salamis, sausages, mortadella, roasted veg, pickles, cheeses, olives, pesto, pates, breads, crostinis and tortillas (vegetarian option available)

Finger food platter: $9.00 per head (+gst)

Chef's choice of 4 finger foods from our kitchen, for example:

Coronation chicken in tortilla cup / Spanakopita / Potato, leek and Gruyere cheese bakes / Parmesan rissotto cakes with parma ham / Chicken wingettes

Dips and bits platter: $4.50 per head (+gst)

Variety of 3 dips with crostinis, tortillas and crudites

Petits fours platter: $5.00 per head (+gst)

Selection of chocolate truffles / mini Christmas mince pies / biscotti / almond breads / rum fudge / florentines

Glazed honey mustard ham with red herring's own chutneys and mustards

Butterfly chicken breasts with sage and onion stuffing and red herring's own cranberry relish

Tomato, olive and basil tart tatin

Selection of breads

Baby potatoes with chives in mayo and sour cream dressing

Asparagus with crispy bacon, shaved parmesan and lemon, drizzled with olive oil

Mixed salad with balsamic dressing

Red herring Xmas chocolate torte, made with ground almonds, drizzled with white chocolate and served with whipped cream (gluten free)
