Welcome to our new healthy Menus A – B – C. These have been  created especially for the health conscious, looking to reduce carbohydrates and increase fibre and protein.    

You will recognise them with our HF sign next to each item.    

Please let us know if you need any special requirements.

Carrot bread sandwiches with a variety of fillings (HF)              

Whole meal tart filled with tuna and sweet corn tossed in extra virgin olive oil and fresh herbs (HF)              

Individual crudities with dip (Inc: snow peas, peppers, radishes and asparagus when in season) (HF)

Red herring’s special burger: bruschetta with sliced tomato, beef burger, basil leaf, mozzarella

Menu four: $16.00 per person    

           5 grain sandwich with a variety of fillings (HF)               

           Beef goulash pies topped with polenta                

             Roasted vegetable frittata topped with humus (V, GF, HF)                

       Lemon and poppyseed cake with cream cheese icing

Bagels filled with a variety of fillings                

Smoked chicken and oriental vegetables marinated in Thai dressing and wrapped in rice paper (GF, HF)                

Prawn, sour cream and fennel tart                

Orange polenta cake with cream cheese icing (GF)

Calzone pizza (folded pizza filled with tomato, roasted vegetables, herbs and mozzarella) (V)                

Chicken kebab in coconut Thai marinade served with a chilli jam (GF, HF)                

Spanicoppitta of filo pastry, spinach, pinenuts and feta cheese (V, HF)                

Chocolate and almond torte topped with chocolate ganache (GF)

Menu Eight:  Healthey Eating $21.00 per person

A selection of sliced and cut meats served with chutneys and relishes                

Roast chicken bits, roast beef, roast pork, roast lamb, honey glazed ham, salami, mortadella and corned beef

Waldorf salad of apple, celery, walnuts and cheese in a light mayonnaise

  2. Pasta salad with corn, peppers, olives in a sundried tomato dressing

  4. Mixed salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, peppers, sunflower seeds and dressing  
  5. Roasted pumpkin, pumpkin seeds and petit pois tossed in a balsamic dressing  
  6. French beans, tomato, cucumber, egg, olives, red onion in a lemon vinaigrette  
  7. Red and white coleslaw in a sour cream mayo with raisins and diced apple  
  8. Chick peas, broad beans, kidney beans, roasted courgettes and peppers in a smoked paprika dressing  
  9. Beansprouts with oriental vegetables in a light soya dressing  
  10. Waldorf salad of apple, celery, walnuts and cheese in a light mayonnaise
